The inspiration for this image started with a realistic landscape that was abstracted in several steps through the medium of printmaking. This is an original hand-cut silkscreen and carved linocut print. Each process is carefully planned and executed for precision registration of silkscreened colors and black linocut finish. Variation VI is one of my most layered silkscreen prints having approximately 16+colors. This is a signed and limited edition of 11.
